EAT REAL FOOD - PALEO
Paleo Nutrition-Eat like our Ancestors did and you'll be feeling great!
Have you recently been diagnosed with Celiac disease? Do you feel tired after eating? Do you have energy spikes? Are you suffering from allergies or unknown allergies? Following an eating plan similar to how our ancestors did during the "paleolithic" times may be the answer to your problems! Here at the Sweat Shop, we have first hand experience with the benefits of eating like the cavemen did! To learn more about our experience you can read our blog, follow us on Facebook, and use the resources listed below.
Here is a Testimonial from a friend
who completed the 30 Day Paleo Challenge with us:
"My husband, Kevin, and I have shared surprising revelations during our 30-day Paleo journey. For instance, who knew that raisins could be more delicious than a Snickers bar or that you could feel completely devious, yet supremely rewarded, by “cheating” with a Greek yogurt that tasted better than any frosting? We came to know kale as a true friend. Doing the diet brought us closer together – nothing like a mid-morning phone call to see how many pounds of nuts the other person devoured on the drive to work; post lunch commentaries on the quality of our prepared meals (spaghetti squash – who knew?); and taking the time to prepare a meal together. We both enjoyed the experience. I can’t say that we necessarily arrived at the same place, but we both did our best – my splurge would be two extra pieces of fruit, while Kevin’s would involve a third steak. As the challenge neared its conclusion, we couldn’t resist digging into the bags of Halloween candy sitting in our cupboard. We both felt weak and lethargic the mornings after those moments of weakness. We realized that we were feeling better and stronger as the diet progressed. Are we dedicated enough to stay on the diet and continue to reap these rewards? Maybe not with absolute dedication – but there is no doubt that it works and that we’ll follow many (if not all) of its tenets going forward. Thank you so much!"
